• Content you submit: photos, license plates, car details, locations, dates, comments, messages.
• Photo metadata: EXIF (e.g. capture date) when present in your uploads.
• Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, IP address, referrer.
• Cookies: for authentication, preferences, and analytics.

3. How we use your data

• To operate the archive — display posts, profiles, leaderboards, and messages.
• To moderate content and enforce our rules.
• To send service emails (account, notifications, replies).

6. Public content

Posts, profiles, usernames, comments, and uploaded photos (including license plates visible in them) are publicly viewable by design. Do not upload content you don't want public. License plates on public roads are not considered private personal data under our policy.

7. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies for login and a small number of analytics/advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) to understand traffic and fund the site. You can block cookies in your browser; some features (login) will stop working.

8. Data retention

We keep account and content data while your account is active. Deleted posts and accounts are removed from public view; backups may persist for a limited period before being purged.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR / Israeli Privacy Protection Law), you may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of your personal data. Email support@israelcarhunters.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Security

We use industry-standard measures (TLS in transit, hashed passwords, row-level access controls). No system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.

11. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the EU and the United States, under appropriate safeguards.
